Under the beautiful western-most sunrise, laid a beautiful silver she-cat. Moonstar sat in the clearing, munching on a rabbit and enjoying life. The sun was shining, a gentle breeze was blowing, and clouds were dancing across the pinkish blue sky. The WindClan leader sighed in peace and became lost in thought. She thought of her mother and father, her mentor, her friend, and her missing kit.

Her topaz eyes suddenly became damp, but she blinked them dry. As the coming breeze buffed against her, it brought the warming and familiar scents of Leaf-fall. Moonstar was so caught up in her world, she forgot about her clan. 'I wonder where my Clan is,' she pondered, looking around.

It was not often that he saw the WindClan leader sitting alone. More than usual she had her deputy or some other warriors by her side, for company. And yet she seemed lost today. Tempestfang padded up behind her, turning his head slightly. "We're right behind you", he said in rough tones, eyes watching her curiously. "Where else?"

The shaggy furred silver tabby sat himself down opposite her, greenish eyes focusing on Moonstar. His fluffy tail curled across his paws and he raised his brow in her direction. Of course he was a mere warrior, but he was intrigued. "Don't mind me asking but why are you sitting alone?"

The pretty silver tabby lifted her head, and her topaz gaze followed until it met Temptestfang's. "Oh, hello Temptestfang. I was just lost in memories, thoughts, and in the glorious day," she sighed, half happy and half sorrowful. She curled her fluffy tail over her paws and looked at the sky.

"It's healthy to remove yourself from stressful duties and just relax. Indulge yourself in memories and futuristic thinking," she mewed, tilting her pink nose towards the pink-tinted, blue sky. She turned her warm topaz gaze back to her loyal warrior, smiling a bit. "And at the moment, things are very stressful," she mewed slowly.

Darkmoon grumpily pushed the water mint aside. Reaching down, Darkmoon plucked another bundle of the herb. Seeing no more, Darkmoon muttered to herself,"I suppose this will have to do." Darkmoon gave her fluffy, puffy brown pelt a lick, and, taking the small portion of watermint she had found, began to walk back torward camp. As she neared camp, she saw two silver tabbies, sitting alone in the clearing. Odd, thought Darkmoon. She began padding over.
Dropping the watermint, Darkmoon padded over and sat. "I hope you are not busy," Darkmoon began quietly. "You look busy... perhaps I should leave. But, Moonstar, just a reminder, you need a deputy soon!" Darkmoon shook her puffy pelt. "But I will leave now," Darkmoon meowed.
