TaintedStar walked into the gather swift and smooth. He sniffed the air and inhaled the stale clan scents. He walked over to the Great Rock and sat beside it waiting for the other leaders to show.

SilverMist walked in following TaintedStar. This was going to be the first gathering when she is just an outsider. She glanced around her as the ShadowClan warriors poured in. She sighed, enjoying the moment.

StormHeart walked beside SilverMist as they entered the Four Trees. He smiled at his love, and sat close to her and waited for her to get comfortable. ((OOC: I am RPing StormHeart because I am really him. I have two accounts.))

IcyKit looked at the Four Trees, bunched together. He was still a kit and wasn't allowed to go to gatherings. Although he's not allowed to go to gatherings yet, he was anxious to get started. But the problem was, he had to wait about 6 moons. He went back to his nest trying to forget all about the gathering, but his mind just couldn't stop thinking about it! His tiny mind buzzed with little questions. What do they do there? How come only warriors could go? Why only once a moon? Then he gave up on thinking about the gathering. He would sneak in. It wouldn't hurt. Right?

Fernstar padded into the clearing with her dark, whip-like tail held high. She walked with a air of grandeur, blue eyes sparkling out of her dark coloured face. The Thunderclan Leader nodded respectfully to Tainted star and the other present cats. She took a seat beside him, using all her willpower not to fidget or look nervous. She was still new to this whole Leadership thing. Brightstar had made it look so easy. The thought of the leader-turned-deputy who hadn't shown her face in a long time reminded Fernstar of the pressure the elder cats were placing on her to find a new deputy. She gave a small sigh, her breath disappearing in the cold air.

Carrionclaw had swept in behind Taintedstar, with the smaller Nightwing in tow. He sat down, curling his long-furred tail around his body for extra warmth. It was times like these when he was happy for his long coat. Not that he showed it. However, the short-haired Nightwing was not faring so well. The smaller black tom was shivering beside Carrionclaw, his teeth making a rattling noise in his mouth. Carrionclaw shot him a look and he shrugged. "C-can't help it!"

With the cats of Windclan came Tempestfang. His silver-blue tabby long-haired pelt stood out like a beacon amongst the other cats. The Tom bowed his head towards the Leaders and took a place by the others.

For Bloodclan, came the shy Firemaw. Named because of the ginger that interrupted his calico pelt around his maw, he'd never been one to draw attention to himself. Too often had others taken that privilege for him. But now, ahead of his clan leader, Firemaw sat amongst the others, waiting patiently for the beginning of the gathering.

TaintedStar watched at FernStar came besied him. "Hello, FernStar," he meowed. Silently he readjusted his feet trying to become more comfortabke. He had a feeling he would be sitting here for a while.

Flamepaw looked on in wonderment, he had never been to a gathering before. The trees were much taller than he had imagined. Beyond the Great Oaks, the full moon shone brightly; he had heard the elders talk about gatherings many times, and he knew that if the moon were to be covered by clouds, that StarClan had decided to end the gathering; usually because of fighting. The gathering is the one time that all four clans are supposed to be at peace. But it doesn't always work that way, for many cats have very short tempers. Flamepaw was actually hoping for a fight, so that he could see this in person.

Flameclaw entered the gathering he stared up at Fernstar wondering how she would do since she hadn't been leader for long.

IcyKit stared at amazement, at all the cats in one area. He became very fond of this sight as he had never seen that many cats before. He thought he might as well leave because this was probably all that ws exciting. He left back to camp. But what he didn't know is that he left icy paw tracks leading towards ThunderClan teritory...

WhisperPaw sighed, glaring at TaintedStar as he walked in. He licked his paws, his teal-blue eyes showing pain and anger. I hate you, mumbled the medicine cat apprentice to himself, skipping away to the other medicine cats.

DeadEye entered with RiverClan behind him, blinking and slowly sighing. He walked to the High Rock, staring at the leaders in front of him. 'I will be taking place of the RiverClan leader for this Gathering today,' he mewed, smirking a little.

Ashstar stalked into the gathering. She had just become leader and this was her first gathering as leader. She jumped onto the great rock, and stood beside Taintedstar, Fernstar and... DeadEye? Where is lightningstar? she asked the Riverclan deputy.

Mercurystar strolled into the clearing, well aware of the glares she got in return. So what if she was late and her Clan unwanted at the Gatherings in the first place? This land would be her's soon. She lept gracefully onto the Great Rock and nodded formally at the other leaders.

((OOC- Sorry...I have a lot of cats to rp since my dear sister Nova is an airhead >__< They'll be put up for adoption after this post))

Whiterain trot down toward the medicine cats, the fiery warrior Nova at his side. With a sideways nod, he stepped away and sat, leaving the she-cat to plop alongside her clanmate Firemaw.

Saturnring didn't bother to cast a glance at his sister atop the Great Rock. If she chose to ignore family, then so be it.

Eaglepaw could hardly contain his excitement as sat next to his mentor, Silvermist, and gazed around. So many cats in one place!

Ashstar flicked her tail in greeting as MercuryStar lept up onto greatrock. Then turned back to DeadEye.

ok, I guess I will since no one else has volunteered. Soon we will have to get a new RC Deputy.

TaintedStar walked to the front of the high rock. "Hello all, the Gathering shall begin," he yowled into the crowd. ShadowClan is prospering, we are beginning to stock up on prey hoping that we get through these tough winter months. I am proud to say this, we are doing great as a clan," TaintedStar meowed as he stepped back for the nest leader to speak.

Deadeye saw LightningStar walk in so he withdrawed his comment before.

Ashstar stepped forward, "windclan has little to report she mewed. The prey is running well considering it's leafbare, and we also are thriving as a clan". She stepped back for the next leader to speak.

The pale, shimmering figure that was Lightningstar had been waiting and watching on the very outer rim of the rock - she had found that it was always more fruitful to see what happens first and then have the opportunity to respond accordingly and appropriately. So far, however, everything has seemed somewhat of a waste of time: the "news" that the others had given - while safe and well - had not been eventful nor exciting; it seemed that there were no castrophies to plan for.
And so when Ashstar, the leader of the clan of the winds, stepped down, it was an air of detachment and surety that the golden she-cat of Riverclan stepped foreward.
"Greetings, cats of all clans. It is my duty to report that Riverclan is thriving this leaf-bare - we have several kits that have been made to apprentices, and a litter of kits inhabits the nursery. Prey runs thick over our lands, and the river runs plenty. All is well." She dipped her noble head to signal the end of her address, and then slowly took a few steps back. She had made a very nice speech this gathering, she thought. Not bad for a leader with her spotty history of leadership.

Fernstar sat in silence, her glittering eyes betraying her calm exterior. One could keep a straight back, a calm tail and hold an air of peace but the eyes never lied. Blue orbs flickered from each leader as they spoke in succession. Then she had to step forward. No time like the present.

Fernstar stood, padding forward on cushioned paws to the attending crowd below them. She opened her mouth and hesitated, just for a moment. "Thunderclan is faring well this Leaf-Bare. So far, nothing has befallen our clan and we remain strong and healthy. We also have a new apprentice, Icypaw." The oriental cat went quiet and moved back with the other Leaders.

TaintedStar stepped forward. "Thankyou for your patients warriors. You are now excused," he meowed as he jumped down from the high rock and headed towards ShadowClan.
