OOC~ Shardstorm is just some random warrior I made up, just to build Auburncoat's character and get the plot moving along. and this was actually made for a totally different situation and I had saved it on my computer. (since I never used this thread I'll post it here) and I changed the situation from 'him loving a cat from another Clan' to 'hunting in a dangerous area' so you can see its quite confusing but I wanted to show everyone I can Roleplay okay when I'm in the mood. And I have to say I'm proud of the second paragraph, it sounds so poetic and it describes Auburncoat as if a painting. (and normally I never complement myself)
"If your hunting there, I'm coming too!"
He curled his lip in total amusement. ‘She is so stubborn.’ Auburncoat had been ordered to look around Snakerocks, scents of badger had been found and he was going to check it out. But he couldn't tell Sharstorm that he was going for a deadly badger, so he just said he was going to hunt there. And of course she went crazy, saying he might get bitten by a snake because Greenleaf always brought many snakes. This was mainly a test, for he had just recently became a warrior a few dawns ago, and this would test his leadership and strategy skills.
Auburncoat shook his head slightly letting his bronze pelt melt into warm gold from the sunlight that kissed his fur. His silent laugh shook his body and he mewed with an exasperated sigh “Must you be so stubborn?” He allowed his eyes to change from the ridged amber they were to soft honey tinted pools of tenderness.
Sliding to Shardstorm's side Auburncoat brushed his icy tail along her spine and urged “I’ll be fine, and you know that. Stop worrying about me so much and take care of yourself.” He didn’t like putting her on the spot but she was always so frantic about his safety and never once looked at herself in a pool of water. Shardstorm was in danger often (because she always does things without thinking), and it hurt him more than any flesh wound could.
Auburncoat allowed his velvet voice to soften even more and he purred lovingly “Please, get some sleep. You've been hunting all morning.” He pressed his frosty cold fur against her side and wound his tail around her body and pulled her against his chest. Inhaling deeply he allowed her vanilla fern-like scent to slow his heart and calm his worry. ‘I just hope she doesn’t do something reckless and stupid, like follow after me.’ The moment Auburncoat echoed his thoughts in the caverns of his mind he suddenly froze, it would be like Shardstorm to do something like that. ‘Then I’ll simply drag her back to camp, she won’t get hurt no matter what. I forbid it.’
Then his eyes opened to reveal the golden-tawny glazed stare and he looked down at her. His copper tail snaked its way up her neck and nudged her chin softly upward, so she would stare him right in his face. “Please.” It wasn’t a question; it was a soft but heartfelt plea.
A soft crackle of ferns warned him that another cat was approaching, pulling away from Sharstorm he gave her an even stare that said 'please don't say anything'. Auburncoat turned around, the scent of pine told him it was a ThunderClan cat so he had no reason to fear. Dipping his head formerly he awaited for the cat to approach him. 'Please don't let this cat say anything about the badger, then I'd never get Shardstorm to stay.'
