Character’s Name Leopardsong
Age ∙ 67 moons
Gender ∙ female
Residing ∙ SkyClan Nursery
Character Type WarriorMindset
Overall Personality ∙ Even for a senior Warrior, Leopardsong has always been a rather shy individual. Always lingering in the shadows away from most of the noise so she can enjoy the peace and beauty nature can bring. While most talk about preparing for the worst and can be much of a drag, Leopardsong prefers to view situations in the calmest way possible: amity and carefree. She isn't just a solemn outcast which loners may think, she loves to be around her friends, but most of the time, she prefers to walk side by side with nature viewing the world in a different way.
Aside from her peaceful views, the carefree Warrior gives nothing for tolerance when it comes to a fight. Despite her peaceful views, she can be rather vicious and overzealous with adrenaline if she needs to defend her Clan. However, sometimes she can be rather reckless turning herself from a faithful peacekeeper into just another mind lost in the midst of battle. She isn't thirsty for the taste of blood; she just needs to do what is best for her Clan and best for herself; therefor, Leopardsong can occasionally be selfish and cower away when things don't seem to go as planned.
Additional Tidbits ∙
-Leopardsong's Warrior name comes from the fact that she has a very influential voice.
-Not a great hunter
-Better with younger cats
-her favorite prey is thrush
-Loves to mentorReflection
Height ∙ 13 inches
Overall Appearance ∙ Just like any SkyClan cat, Leopardsong has strongly built hind legs and rather light on her paws. She has a slightly longer tail than average which can help when she needs to balance when up in trees with her fellow Clanmates. A define chest and slim underbelly makes her appearance rather striking and a bit feared aside from her sweet personality. Her dark paws are average sized and her ears are slightly curved at the top and are places just a trifle further apart than what would be considered normal.
Along her muscular build, this SkyClan Warrior has distinctive Bengal makings on her silver pelt. Creeping along her back and waning down to her white under belly, these black marks distinguish this warrior ultimately because of the enticing pattern. Her tail has a tabby pattern of different gradients extending all the way to her tail tip as so her legs to her paws. She has frosty blue eyes which seem even brighter over her dark mask which covers the majority of her face which is sprinkled in a slight silver bath. Her curved ears also carry the dark feature as do her muzzle. Her nose is a dark pink and her whiskers are a bit short.Backstory
Family History ∙ Just like any average family, Leopardsong's parents were just two loyal Warriors to their Clan, nothing more. While Specklenose, Leopardsong's father, was born through SkyClan blood, Spottedfur was an abandoned kittypet left in a rain storm on chilly leaf-fall afternoon. She was no older than an apprentice, though she was rather chubby for a SkyClan cat. The former SkyClan leader, [insert leader's name here], came across the sorry kit and took her back into the Clan to be assessed. Spottedfur (or Spots the kittypet at the time) had no collar nor did she have any real evidence to provoke evidence she once was a kittypet; being SkyClan having dealt with multiple cases of similarity as well made the lost kit a suitable addition to the Clan. Daylight Warriors were still pretty common back these many moons ago so no one argued against the newly named apprentice, Spottedpaw.
At Spottedpaw's newly naming of becoming an apprentice, the only other apprentices at the time were Blazepaw, Willowpaw, and Specklepaw; all of them being littermates, none of them had a problem with accepting Spottedpaw into their own little 'Clan'. The four apprentices called themselves the 'SkyClan Spies' for obviously, their clever and wily instincts. Out of this particular group, Spottedpaw grew very close to the light gray Tom, Specklepaw. For Specklepaw, it was nice to have someone to talk to other than his littermates; but, for the innocent she-cat, as a young apprentice, the phrase 'more than friends' was quite under-rated.
After getting their Warrior names, Spottedfur, Specklenose, and Blazeheart (Willowpaw died in a fight with rouges), Specklenose began to adjust to Spottedfur's feelings for him and began to look at her as potential mate. Blazeheart was already captivated by his own mentor, Lilysong, so the gray flecked Tom felt rather left out of the realm of love. As for when the Warrior truly became charmed under Spottedfur's mystical spell, that remains a mystery to even omniscient minds like those in StarClanor the narrator. But what is known for sure is that the two Warriors had a very healthy relationship despite their different origins.
In the end of both their lives, one thing Spottedfur always told Leopardsong and her littermates is that you should always try to find peace in what you are doing. "Even in the midst of battle, and the toughest of seasons," she said "Just keep to you heart and always remember that StarClan will protect you even in times of death." Leopardsong always knew it was in memory of her father who died when she was just two moons old, but she never really knew the true story of how her mother could stay in realm of peace with such a burden. "Sometimes you can love someone so much they'll never leave you" she'd always say with a smile. Her belief is what makes her herself, and what shaped the life of her two sons and daughters.
Family ∙ Spottedfur (mother; deceased), Specklenose (father; deceased), Tigerflame(brother; open for roleplay), Dustfur (brother; deceased)
Birthplace ∙ SkyClan Nursery
Background ∙ As a kit, Leopardsong had quite the rambunctious nature just like any new kit to the Nursery. Wild, optimistic, and easily tricked, this kit was not the Leopardsong her Clanmates may know today. In fact, she never found the meaning of her true personality till she was almost a Warrior.—But detailing more on her high-spirited kit-hood, Leopardkit and her littermates, despite what they wanted would obey their mother no matter what the cost; now, any of the other Queens, that would be a different story, but they always knew that their mother would be there for them and that she’d look out for what is best for the three kits. When Leopardkit was just barely two moons old, their own father, Specklenose was killed with a run in with a Badger. That is why they have such a strong bond with their mother, because they knew that their mother was the only one who still carried their origin.
Once the day came for the three trouble makers to become apprentice, they learned quickly they needed to comply with others un-order to be successful with their training. For them, it was thrill, but little did they know the danger that lurks in the woods of SkyClan territory. Leopardpaw was assigned to a young Warrior named Duskheart: a young molten grey tom. Just like her mother, this tom believed in a form of amity in the forest, that it doesn’t always have to be a challenge of every passing cat. With this statement and her mother’s words, (which I mentioned in family history) the young apprentice soon began to realize this new, emotional way of thinking; that not every warrior should be so headstrong.
On the day the three apprentices were to be assessed to become Warriors, there was a cougar that seemed to be passing through that had begun to make its home in the territory. Miraculously, there were only four casualties in the battle for the camp, but out of these four; one of them was Dustpaw while the other was Spottedfur. Spottedfur died while fighting while her son bleed to death in the paws of the SkyClan Medicine Cat. Before Dustpaw went to StarClan, [Insert Leader’s Name here] did the ritual in which a dying apprentice goes to StarClan with their warrior name. Dustpaw was given the name Dustfur as he died just moments after the ceremony. (The Cougar was caught by two legs and transported to a zoo, but the cats wouldn’t know that part.) When Tigerpaw and Leopardpaw were given their Warrior names, both their vigils were clouded with tears and grief.
Wrapping up, in Leopardsong’s Warrior life, she grieved over her family for the first few moons. This was the point where she hated life and wish she could just join them in StarClan. She didn’t really remember her father but she moaned over him as well. It wasn’t until Duskheart died did she finally realize that it was wrong to grieve over something. “Enjoy the peace life brings while you have the chance” were her mentors last words. Her troubled past turned her into the cat she is today, she wasn’t always so shy and secretive among her Clamates. Some things can be hard to get over, but most cats in her Clan have never had to deal with such a tragedy back to back. As for her only relative left, Tigerflame, her still remains bright spirited and a noble Warrior, however, his recent reactions and short temperedness have been worrisome to Leopardsong; and that the senior Warrior has had some recent ambivalence about him lately. (The ending’s for someone who may be curious in playing Tigerflame)Sample
The atmosphere was a thick gray veil surrounding the camp in a droopy fashion of laziness. The harsh bitter winds which bites at ones fur rustled through sticks and branches making a rattling sound of eeriness as a lone cat walked along a grassy path. The feline had a silver pelt with large, leopard-like spots along her definite back and she had distinctive tabby markings down her legs and tail. Her eyes shown a frosty blue,-- like the clouds which threatened another fall of cold snow. The dark ears of the silver Bengal twitched as she was alerted to a sudden shift in the dreary shadows. Her eyes fixed a cold gaze in the direction of the commotion; a pair eyes gazed back at her with a playful expression. She recognized the scent which dwindled slightly as she whiffed the air: it was the scent of a fellow SkyClan cat. With a moment of nervous relaxation, the she-cat calmly though skittish voice asked, "Hello?"Contract
