Overall Personality ∙ Rainstep is very gentle in nature, having very little to say in an argument. She prefers to stay out of fights and will avoid cats who she knows are upset with each other. Instead she will try to find a way to keep neutral, and out of the way. But that doesn't she isn't social.
She makes friends very easily, being able to talk to anyone who wishes to talk to her. She has a way of charming her clanmates with small stories and her playful nature. She can come up little games to keep kits out of the way, and enjoys doing so. Her love for kits makes her a great nursery cat; and her patience with them makes her preferable. She is overall a sweet and gentle cat who loves kits.Reflection
Overall Appearance ∙ Rainstep is a small she-cat. She has a small frame with long legs and delicate looking paws. Her head is medium sized and is slightly narrowed with large ears, making her look slightly awkward. Her eyes are large and almond shaped, and have large pupils making her look cute. Her tail is very long, able to wrap around her entire body when she sits.
Her fur is short, thick and very fluffy. It is sliver in color with darker tabby stripes that make bands on her tail, and legs and tiger-like stripes on her main body and head. She has a lighter colored belly, and toe socks on her front two paws. She has a small semi-circular scar above her left eye, and a long one going along the right side of her ribs. Her eyes are light blue with flecks of green and gold, and glow warmly.Backstory

Birthplace ∙ Rainstep was born in a juniper bush on the edge of Skyclan territory, deep in the forested area and near the river.
Background ∙ Rain was born with her younger sister, Blossom, on the edge of Skyclan territory in a bush of junipers. They were quickly moved away to a abandoned badgers den farther away from the border. Honey, their mother, was a loner and tried her best to imprint her beliefs into her young daughters of the dangers of the forest and the wild group of cats nearby; claiming that both were dangerous and would have no pity on two young kits like themselves. They stayed with their mother and her teachings for 8 moons. When the two young daughters finally left their mother, they both remembered their mother's teachings, but in two different ways.
It seemed that things were going well, but Rain started to note strange disappearances of Blossom. Following her one day, Rain was shocked to find that Blossom had been going to twolegs for food on a regular occurance. Rain kept quiet for a few days mulling over the shocking news. When finally confronting Blossom, her sister admitted that she was nervous about never having enough food. Rain decided that if her sister was that nervous, then they would both have to practice their hunting. So every day was more hunting and more food. But Rain grew worried as Blossom left more and more often. One sunny morning Rain woke up to find Blossom sitting next to her silently watching the dawn. When Rain asked her what was wrong, Blossom admitted her plans to join the twoleg nest. Rain tried to be happy for her sister but was crushed at the fact that her sister was leaving her. She walked her sister to her new home, and said goodbye with a mild sadness.
The next seasons were very lonely for Rain who felt haunted by memories of her sister, and left their old den because of that. She traveled around the forest with for a couple of moons finding it hard to settle anywhere. Though she really doesn't remember most of this period since depression clouded her mind.
Nearly three seasons had passed making her way into the worst of leafbare. Hunting was low on her mind causing her body to grow weaker and thinner. Rain was on the vergeof death when she accidently made her way into another loner's territory. Collapsing in a spare den, she was found by the owner of the territory: Pine. Pine brought her back to health, and they started living together. WIthin a few moons she had fell in love with the loner that had saved her life. She hoped to spend the rest of her life with him.
But then she came across the wildcats. But they weren't called that. They were called Skyclan. Meeting these cats spiked Rain's curiosity. She began to talk about them all the time; always asking questions to her mate, who began to grow annoyed with her. As a moon passed her mate finally turned and demanded that she stop mooning over them, or just go and join them. He then ran off, making the choice for her. But she tried to find him, but he had left his territory, leaving her alone again.
Feeling wretched, Rain once again began to travel on her own, but now she had a place to go. Making her way into the gorge that the strange cats had spoken of, she found herself surprised by the number of cats that lived there. Like most cats that came to the gorge she was accepted into the clan, being given the name of Rainstep.
She has since then realized she was to be a mother, and has joined the nursery. She takes it upon herself to care for any kit that has been left in the nursery. She looks forward to having kits of her own.Sample
Rainstep curled up in her nest, her eyes half-open and gazing at the cave entrance. It had been quiet for a while, and the warm feeling of her nest made her drowsy. Turning her head to glance at the small kit behind her, Rainstep purred at the sight of the kit napping on its back. I can't wait to have my own.Contract
