(I came up with this story a while back ago and i want to be an author. If you could please tell me what you think, the ups and it's downs please. )
The Immortal Wolves – Saying Goodbye
The moon hovered over them, guiding them on their dangerous journey. The forest was quiet that night. The sky was clear and everything seemed to be still. Even if it was almost winter usually there would be something happening. The only thing moving was two wolves slowly walking in a path, not quite sure where they were going nor why. These wolves were different, they had wings. One wolf had dark fur and black feathered wings. His eyes were dark and his ears were alert. The other one was smaller than the other. She had pretty white fur and white and gold feathered wings. Her eyes were gold and she looked like a reflection of a bright light. Her name was Morning Light.
Morning Light looked at her companion. He wasn’t supposed to come with her, in fact he probably wouldn’t have if Silent Steps hadn’t disappeared on her journey. His older brother, Strong winds, was heart broken. Morning Light could have cared less if Dark Storm came with her or not. He wasn’t nice one bit, he was mean and brutal and he never cared for her at all. So why did he bother coming?
Morning Light and Dark Storm used to be friends when they were younger. It seemed like ages ago when they had their first try at their skills. Dark Storm was a Storm Hunter. Storm Hunters stayed near the pack which was mostly just the mothers and the pups. They hunted and fought near the pack. They relied on each other to attack. Morning Light was a Night Howl. Night Howls hunted and fought alone. They relied on no one but themselves. It’s either eat or be eaten, kill or be killed. Either you’re the prey or you’re the hunter. It’s your choice and nobody else’s. That’s the rule they went by.
Morning Light was used to thinking for herself now, for no one else. She was the only one who decided to go this way or that. But now with Dark Storm by her side it was much harder to get used to. When she was pup she wouldn’t have had a problem what so ever. But now things have changed. Morning Light glanced at Dark Storm, he had a look that told her he was thinking of how upset his brother had been when Silent Steps hadn’t returned. That night….Strong Winds had changed so much since. He was now quiet and unpleasant to be around. Just like Dark Storm.
