Taintedstar awoken at Dawn. He quickly left his den. He just had a horrible dream about Dawnstar. He was so tempted to just go straight into RiverClan territory. He convinced himself to refrain. He knew that she would somehow know to meet him here. He would wait as long as it took. He knew that his clan would be worried and Dawnstar would know he was here, waiting for her and only her. As he arrived at the Thunderpath he wrinkled his nose, but tried to adjust. All he needed was to see her face, so that he could know she was safe.

It had been a long day of training but that didn't matter all that mattered was the steady beat of Dawnstars paws on the ground. it was almost like they didn't need her mind to lead them. they went on there own knowing that at the end of her trek she would be with her partner her Taintedstar, the one she loved truly. she stopped right at the clearing peaking though the last bush to see the outline of Taintedstar not more then a few tail-lengths away. Without hesitation the she-cat playfully pounced on her mate and cuffed him on the ear. "Greetings Taintedstar, how is the prey running?" She said in a false serious tone.

As he felt her body hit his he laughed. She was finally here. Finally here, next to him, touching him. His dreams had finally caught up with reality. He smiled and looked at her. Her beautiful pelt, he wonderful eyes, and everything else.It was just perfect. He met her gaze. "As usual, for LeafBare," he replied. He didn't care about prey at the moment he cared about her. He took a deep breathe. "How was training?" he asked. "A little birdie told me you have got a new apprentice. I wonder how Chewpaw feels," he added. Dawnstar was to be Chewpaw's mentor. She never actually had enough time for him. She turned him over to another warrior. But now, but guessing, she had time for another apprentice.

Dawnstars eyes went bright in surprise as she stood over her ebony mate. 'Were did he hear? I just might hunt that "little birdie" ' She didn't let the flash of anger show and quickly went back to the wonderful ease that she had when ever she was near the Shadowclan leader. " It was good, Tigerpaw has a quick mind and has a great eagerness to learn. He will make a fine warrior. As far as Chewpaw may Starclan help him! I have left him in the paws of Breezefeather. I hope I didn't make a mistake. I wanted to keep him I did! But I just didn't have the time, with Tigerpaw there was no choice but to take him. Truly it was under very..special circumstances."Dawnstar look into the green depths of Tainted stars eyes. She could get lost in them. They were as deep and intense as a thick forest, touched but Silverpelt. She searched his eyes for understanding, wisdom, patience, everything that he had that she had barley learned about.

Taintedstar realized he shouldn't have asked that question. He knew that he knew too much. he always was ease dropping on all the conversations about RiverClan. Maybe he should stop that. He liked his own privacy, why couldn't he respect theirs. "I hope everything goes all right," he said in an encouraging voice. he wanted to apologize, but he was afraid that she would think she was too easily read. Or maybe he was reading her wrong. He shook his head and tried to forget.
