Snow crunched under the massive paws of a cat, and leaving perfectly huge pawprints. Each stride was long, elegant, and proud. However, the closer the she-cat got to her camp, the strides shortened and became a little less proud and moreso like unsure and doubtful. Her heart raced and skipped beats as each paw touched the chilly surface underneath the ground she walks upon. StarClan, am I doing the right thing? Should I be accepting Fawn into WindClan? the leader asked the sky above.
Moonstar constantly looked behind her to see if the small yet tall brown kit was following her. The RiverClan deputy, Gingerpelt, and the nerve to approach this silver leader on her own territory, but brought her this kit. The kit, Fawn, had told her maw to maw that she would be an honourable soldier to this band of wild cats and being the peaceful she-cat she was, Moonstar agreed to take her. She instantly sighed when she saw the opening to the camp.
Once Moonstar entered, she had told the young kit where to stand, and had strided onto Tallrock. "All of those who are old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath me on the Tallrock!" she yowled into the air, and waited for her clan. "If you smell the fresh scent of kittypet right now, do not panic. For I have found a youngster who wishes to join no other Clan but our own. I have agreed to take her in until we decide whether or not to let her join. That is why I humbly ask you, my friends, to decide the path the young kit, Fawn will travel upon!" Moonstar yowled, flicking her tail towards the brown she-kit.
(I'll bring in fawn later.)
