  Rainpaw is a large, stocky apprentice who is nothing but pure muscle from his time training. His pure white fur is unlike his siblings, who are all short furred, while his is long. This can become a problem with him when he tries to swim since it becomes heavier, and almost caused him to drown when he rescued his sister. His eyes are two different colors, one gray and one blue. This dual coloring appeared as soon after he opened his eyes and the Medicine-cat says that it shows his connection to Starclan.

  Rainpaw is the calm to his siblings hurricane emotions, keeping them from running off and acting on their impulses. He is very loyal to his clan and often looks down on those that have broken the warrior code, but he also has broken it by attacking a warrior who was harassing his brother. This fierce protective streak for his siblings is almost all consuming and it takes very little to get on his bad side when it comes to his charges. Besides his protectiveness of his siblings he is normally well-mannered and a wonderful apprentice to be around.

• History:
  
  Rainpaw was born from an ill queen and soon after giving birth to him and his siblings the queen died. The other queen in the nursery at the time took the three kits in and raised them along with her kits. This sad start in life has led to some of the more superstitious clan members seeing the queens death as an omen but the more sensible clan cats see it as the tragedy it is. Their mother never told anyone who their father was so the kits have spent most of their life guessing who it may be. They are close to Hawkpelt, and many of the clan think that he is their father. He was given the role of guardian to his siblings by Starclan and takes any insult or threat to them very seriously and has gotten into a lot of trouble for fighting with any cat that gives them trouble, even the warriors.

  Given the responsibility of watching and guiding his siblings since he is the oldest. He, like his siblings, is connected to Starclan but he is even more so and can tell if his siblings need help.
