Hello everyone, I have a little bit of a sad thread here. So lately there has been a death. Now I did know the person, but not very well we attended the same middle school and high school. Know I will remove his last name and any other information that is for my security and his family's.

"It's kind of crazy, you know, I don't think it's all set in yet," neighbor Jake Schmidt said.
A 15-year-old boy was found stabbed multiple times in his backyard on ** Drive.
Police are still trying to pin down what happened.
"Right now it doesn't appear as though this is gang-related, but we're still in the early stages of exactly the investigation and what's going on out here," San Jose Police Officer Jermaine ** said.
A next door neighbor heard some commotion outside about 8:30 last night and found the boy's mother in the yard.
"She was frantic obviously; she said something about her son had been stabbed and she wasn't sure how he was doing," Robert ** said.
Police have not released the boy's name.
No suspect has been identified.
The family moved into the rental home less than a month ago and had not made friends yet with nearby residents.
Neighbors say their concern now is for the safety of their children.
"I am very concerned about her walking back and forth to the school, we make sure she walks with the neighbors next door; when she walks the dog we make sure she partners up someone else from the neighborhood," Jeanette ** said.
What puzzles neighbors is that they did not hear any signs of a struggle or attack.
Relatives told ABC7 that the boy was home alone Tuesday night.
Clearly this is a difficult time for this neighborhood as residents wrestle with what happened. It will also be a tough day for the classmates of the victim as they go back to school after the holiday.

A 15-year-old boy was apparently stabbed to death in his own backyard Tuesday night while his mother was out running errands.
The teen died at his home in the ** block of ** Drive, near ** Road and Highway **, according to** police officer Jermaine **. Police received a call at 8:36 p.m.
Sources identified the victim as Michael **, a sophomore at ** School.
Robert **, who lives next door, said he and his wife had gone to their front yard and saw Michael's mother in a panic and saying that her son had been stabbed.
The ** family had lived in the house a few months and was quiet and mostly kept to themselves,Robert ** said.
Police have not identified a suspect, ** said. He said the killing, **'s 25th homicide of the year, does not appear to be gang-related, but the investigation is continuing.
The killing devastated Michael's friends, including one boy who sat sobbing outside the house. Neighbors and school and city officials were shocked and saddened by the death.
"He was a sweet, quiet, gentle person," said Katherine **, principal of ** School, which Michael attended two years ago as an eighth-grader. "He never got into any kind of trouble."
Among officials at ** School, closed for the Veteran's Day holiday, word of the killing was slow to filter out because the school's e-mail system had been taken down Wednesday morning for maintenance.
If necessary, the ** School District will make counselors and additional security available when school resumes today, Associate Superintendent Alan ** said.
Michael's biology teacher at ** School called him "a very nice young man. He would participate in discussions, and was very respectful and pleasant to have in class," said Mike **.
Mike **, who also lives nearby, said the killing comes as an unexpected blow to the neighborhood, where people know each other and feel safe walking their dogs at night.
The ** Association was meeting nearby Tuesday night to discuss forming a Neighborhood Watch group, said Councilwoman Nancy **, whose district includes the victim's home. She described it as a "very quiet neighborhood."
No particular crime prompted the meeting, she said, but her office has been promoting formation of neighborhood groups for safety.
No one at the meeting, which ended about 8:30 p.m., was aware of Tuesday's stabbing.
In another ** neighborhood Tuesday night, community members gathered to discuss safety in the wake of the Halloween-night gang-related attack that left a 12-year-old boy in grave
condition. A 13-year-old boy was also seriously injured in that attack.
Back in ** Valley, "This is a terrible, terrible thing that happened to this family," Nancy ** said, "I hope we can find out what happened and get some kind of justice."
Now I really do give out my heart the the families hurt, and if you ask of anymore information, over time I may be able to but know this is all I have except the rumors at school with I do not trust.
Also, I must say there is something wrong with my school. Last year, a Junior Nick had killed himself in the beginning of the year. Over the summer a young P.E. teacher died, that I think died giving birth. And know this happens. So I've been at this school for 2 years and there have been three deaths.
