SITE RULES

∙ No cussing. Now, now I do realize that as soon as you read this rule, you may think hypocrite or some other things, but I have only slipped once or twice. So if you only cuss every once in a while, it will be fine. Also if you are going to post a thread with swear words, please indicate that in the Title/Subject of the thread.

∙ No advertising anywhere in the IC or the OOC boards. I will allow a link to a site in your personal text/avatar/signature, but only if the site is appropriate. You may be free to advertise in the Advertisement board, but please do not post an ad more than one.

∙ Activity is every sites problem. They are always trying to figure out new ways to appeal to their directed audience. Well the thing is I need your help. If you join don't just disappear or never post. It aggravates me and the other admins. If you are leaving, forever or for a small amount of time, notify the admins. Go post in the Are you leaving? sub-board in the General Board.

∙ Drama, drama, drama. I hate it! So annoying, it is just like blah blah blah. Please refrain from causing fights, gossip, or rumors. Who cares? If you are gonna fight, don't do it out in the open, do it in pms. If you really need help with another person notify one of the admins so that we can help you.

∙ Even though I know I said don't create drama, well its gonna happen. When it does don't drag other people into it. So and so said this hahaha. NOT COOL MAN, NOT COOL!

∙ Spam? Are you flippin kidding me? What in the world would you be thinking while spamming? Haha they are gonna hate me after this tehehe. Yeah right knock it off. We don't need spam floating around. If you spam this site, do you realize how much work and effort you destroyed? SO DON'T DO IT! NO SPAM!

∙ Keep it PG please. No porn. Simple isn't it. Don't talk that way either to people. Haha suck my cock. NOT OKAY! You will be immediately banned from the Chat box and from the site. It is not acceptable to speak to other that way, or to show things like that.

∙ I know this sounds cheezy, and I feel like one of the teachers. You know what I'm saying you are about to take a test and they say 'Have fun!' Well I'm saying it to you now. This site was made for the enjoyment of others so go out there and have fun as a warrior!

RPG RULES

∙ Usernames should be the prefix and suffix name of the character (for example, Tainted-star or Breeze-feather); Kittypets, Rogues, and Loners are the exception to this rule. Their display names may be whatever the member wishes, within reason. Additionally, your character should not be named after a pre-existing fictional character. The exception to this is characters sharing the prefix name of one in the Warriors universe, and only for clan members.

∙ One account per character. That means you must re-register in order for you to have another character to role-play with.

∙ From the stated rule above, you need a separate account for each character you create. Well you may only have a maximum of 10 characters. Two of the characters can have a high position, and only three can be in the same clan.

∙ So as you can see, there are other members than you. So if you possibly could, just scroll through the member list and find a prefix that isn't there. It is the easiest way for us to keep track of who is who. Because if you have a character name Beartail and some one has one names Bearclaw it is too confusing.

∙ No god-modeling. That means to make your character like a god. All powerful, invincible, etc. Here is an example:

The sweet wind hit her face. She breathed in. Awe the smell of spring, she thought. She began padding east, just following her senses. She felt large paw steps through the ground. She stopped, frightened. She knew that the forrest was filled with creature much larger than her. She glanced around her examining her surroundings. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She took a deep breath through her nose, trying to catch the scent of her mysterious guest. She sighed in relief it was just a fox. She was very strong, how could a fox beat her. She followed its scent. Now she was face to face with the creature. It was three times the size as her. She pounced onto the fox and killed it with one try.

The words with a slash through them are specific points where in the role-play post there is god-modeling. A warrior cat could never beat a fox in one try, never.

∙ Absolutely no power playing. Power playing is when you control another members character. Here is an example:

He walked up to the shecat. She was sitting, very peacefully. He looked at her. "Hello," he meowed. She met his gaze "Hello, my dear friend," she replied He was dazzled by her eyes, wishing he could swim in their pools of blue. She dropped her eyes down quickly. He cheeks warmed, from embarrassment. Her tail flicked with impatience. "How are you?" he asked. She gazed up, "I am great, what about you?" she answered "I am great also," he meowed. He felt his heart beat faster as he leaned in to lick her cheek. She smiled. She wanted him to lick her, she'd been trying to get up the nerves to do the same.

The words in italics are examples of power playing. In this case, you are playing the male and the female parts are another member characters, but you are overpowering that member by putting actions and words that do not belong to the character.

∙ Correct spelling and grammar are required. No chat speak, l33tspeek, or any other slang used in IC posts. It is all right if you slip once or twice, but if it is a constant thing, an admin will speak to you personally to help you fix this problem.

∙ In order to get other to reply to your posts, well you have to post. I do realize you may lose your muse or have writer block, but please post as much as you can.

∙ No double-posting. Double-posting is when you post two or more consecutive replies to the same thread. There is a modify button and I suggest you use it.

∙ As you can see, on the right side of the forum, there is a word count. There is a bit or wiggle room, but each post must be a minimum of 100 words. Song lyrics, poems, etc. do not count towards the 100 word goal.

∙ In order for you to begin IC posts, or role-playing, your biography must be accepted by an administrator or moderator. If you post a IC post before your bio has been accepted it will be deleted. Also, for your bio to be accepted you must, must, must use the correct form.

∙ No thread-jacking. What is that you say? Well it is when a thread is specifically closed or it's indicated that the poster desires a specific person to reply (that isn't you) you post. Well do not post, be a considerate warrior and MIND YOUR STINKIN BEESWAX! No it is perfectly fine to read the thread, juts don't reply to it, thanks.

CHAT BOX RULES

Now these rules are pretty simple and easy, so follow them.

∙ No Advertising

∙ No Spamming

∙ No Flooding--no more then 7 posts in a row.

∙ No Swearing, cussing, or racism. In simple terms, treat others the way you want to be treated.

∙ No impersonating others, it causes real problems.

∙ No Pornographic speaking, images, or sites. You will be majorly punished if this happens.

THE WARRIOR CODE

I did not create this code, it is the workings of the lovely Erin Hunter and her series of books.

∙ Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

∙ Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

∙ Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.

∙ Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

∙ A kit must be at least six moons to become an apprentice.

∙ Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

∙ A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

∙ The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

∙ After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

∙ A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for one night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

∙ Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

∙ No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.

∙ The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

∙ An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

∙ A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

While it's quite a lot to take in, these rules have been established to ensure that the forum runs safely and smoothly. All rules are subject to change at any moment. Please check this thread periodically, and be sure to keep an eye out for announcements stating rule-changes.
