You are at Warrior Falls Academy of Classical Horsemanship. Set in rural California, it is a riding school like no other, the trails are awesome, the classes are fascinating, and for the first time in your life, you have friends that you have at least one thing in common with, horses. This remarkable riding academy is nestled at the feet of great mountains, next to the beautiful waterfalls for which it was named. In this place, there resides drama, gossip and romance, as well as a fine cast of friends and enemies. Though the riding school claims to be a riding school, many experts have dubbed it “a high school with a dash of college thrown in both of which involve horses”. Ah yes, this is the high school and riding school in one, where teenagers will fight and fall in love.
But life in the nearby villages only adds drama to the student’s lives. It is a melting pot of cultures. The town itself is a small Scandinavian town, in which most residents are American, or long-ago immigrants to the US. Then there is the nearby Spanish mission, accompanied by its Presidio. There the Spanish and Latino people practice their classic horsemanship. And in the mountains, a little way behind the falls, there dwell a group of Chumash Indians, Native Americans who were never relocated to a land reserve and who practice traditional equitation on their own land.
So who will you be? A Caucasian high school student of high potential? A budding college student from Finland who has decided to start a new life in America? Perhaps you are a Spanish settler, or a member of the Chumash tribe. Whatever the case, each person attends the riding school…and you are the one who decides what happens…
